In years past, on this blog, I have posted a description of what the human body endures during a crucifixion.  I first heard the horrors, of this barbaric practice, some years ago, during a Good Friday service, at a church in Virginia.  It was a sermon I shall never forget, and whose point, of Christ's suffering and love, became imprinted on my brain forever.
